I just realized it’s been nearly a month since I’ve posted anything. After Magic Shell, I really didn’t see how any other post would match up. Once you’ve got the magic you’ve got all you need for the perfect summer. 🙂

However, we are having a great summer and I thought I’d post the pictures to prove it. One of the drawbacks my parents have to put up with for living in picture perfect Fallbrook/San Diego area is that we visit…for long periods of time… whenever the weather in Utah doesn’t suit us. 🙂 For the past two weeks we have enjoyed:

and went to the San Diego Zoo About to get on the skyfari:The United States’ most prolific panda mommy. She’s had 6 of the 10 babies born in the states.

A peacock startled Trin as she came around the corner This lithe lady just hung out on her hind legs looking around for what seemed like forever. She was still standing there when we finally moved on.Hangin’ out with a California Condor This one is for Uncle Matt. Lilly at the controls of an arctic research helicopter:The polar bear woke from her nap and decided to go for a swim directly in front of us much to the girl’s delight:

The Koala exhibit has reopened:

And Trinity finally got to see the baby giraffe:
It has been a great trip and it is hard to believe it is coming to a close. Still a few things to come though. I believe SOMEBODY has an 8th birthday approaching! We’ll be spending it in proper California style at the beach. Photos to come…
