This will likely be our last Easter in Utah. As our time here slowly draws to a close I think I am getting sentimental. I thought it would be fun to look back on the Easters we have celebrated here. There were more than I thought! It certainly shows how our family has grown:

The only family photo we managed for Easter 2009:2010 We are joined by a brand new addition to our family. Do we all look as exhausted as we feel?:This is one of our all time favorites, 2011:We thought maybe we’d have more luck later in the day. Nope! We just had one overtired, overstimulated, tried-chocolate- for-the-first-time baby:

Alas, no Easter pictures from 2012 as I was in China on a missions trip with my dad. In 2013 we were in CA celebrating with my parents and managed not to get a photo that year either! But here are our most recent shots:

Today, and every day, may we celebrate this: “The just and loving Creator of the universe has looked upon hopelessly sinful people and sent his Son, God in the flesh, to bear his wrath against sin on the cross and to show his power over sin in the Resurrection so that all who trust in him will be reconciled to God forever…Surely this gospel evokes unconditional surrender of all that we are and all that we have to all that he is.” (Radical by David Platt)

We are thankful for the years we have had here in Utah. Whether we remain here next year or find ourselves moving elsewhere, we pray that we can live in continual surrender and gratitude for the free gift of salvation we have been given through Jesus Christ. Happy Easter!!
